Equestrian Excellence

β€œWhat began as a passion evolved into a commitment to continuous growth and excellence.”

I have trained in equestrian sport for almost a decade, specializing in dressage and competing at an advanced level as a Certified Senior II rider. I recently earned 1st place in Senior I at the 48th Chiang Kai-shek Cup Dressage National Championships, along with 5th place in Senior II. I have also competed in the FEI Junior Team Test and USEF Third Level Test 3, receiving Blue Ribbons for both. My training involves daily horse care, conditioning, and technical practice to improve precision, and communication with the horse. I also completed internships at Luso West (California, USA) and Hannover Equestrian (Taipei, Taiwan), assisting with training routines and stable management. Through consistent training and competition, I have developed discipline, focus, and resilience.

Awards and Experience

Competitive Dressage Rider

Chinese Taipei Equestrian Association, Taipei

Earning first place at the Chiang Kai-shek Cup National Championship was a meaningful milestone after years of consistent training. It showed me that progress in dressage is built through patience, discipline, and attention to small details over time. Each competition, from FEI Junior to national-level events, has reinforced the importance of trust and communication with my horse. While this result strengthened my confidence, it also reminded me to stay focused on continuous improvement rather than outcomes alone. Dressage has taught me resilience and long-term commitment, showing that sustained effort and consistency are essential to achieving high-level performance.

Volunteering and Learning

Worked as an intern at a professional equestrian stable, assisting with daily horse care, stable operations, and dressage training activities. Responsibilities included grooming, feeding, tack preparation, maintaining stable organization, and supporting riders and trainers during lessons and competition preparation. Observed how professional equine facilities balance animal welfare, discipline, communication, and time management in a high-performance environment. Gained hands-on experience in equine management while developing responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

This experience helped me better understand the amount of care, consistency, and teamwork required to maintain a professional equestrian environment. I learned that success in dressage is not only about riding ability, but also about trust, communication, and attention to the horse’s well-being. Working closely with trainers and stable staff improved my discipline, adaptability, and ability to take initiative in fast-paced situations.
